Hey hey! It's been awhile. I haven't been drawing so much- I'm the type to get a new hobby every week, sometimes several in a week. So I've been making dollhouse furniture. Or attempting to, anyway.
I'm about to get into watercolors. I think I tried years ago and bought a bunch of books but never actually did anything. Thank goodness I still have the books because I'm inspired again. I also have tons of brushes I've collected over the years.
But I recently finished reading Le Petit Prince (The Little Prince) for school (French class, actually) and it inspired me to do something.

I don't usually do manga style- chibis, specifically. But it's something I've always wanted to be able to do. I've wanted to be able to do anything, actually, so I dabble in everything but don't really stick with anything. Anyway, it's going to bug me if I don't point it out now, but I did get something wrong- you can tell because it looks a bit weird. His neck (and subsequently the rest of his body) should be further to the right, closer to where his mouth is. But I had the whole thing drawn before I realized and I didn't want to redo it. It's not
incredibly obvious and I'm sure people won't notice right away, but I feel better pointing it out. And now I know what to do for next time. If I keep doing chibis. Why not? I like paying homage to good books I've read.
I'm not going to review it traditionally on my blog, but I did say
a few words.
These prints are in my shop
here.
Ciao ciao!
